Americans, rejoice.
October is National Pizza Month, which means you can take advantage of some great pizza deals nationwide. Whether you like your pizza vegan, thin-crust, meaty, Chicago-style, or New York-style, plenty of pizza joints are offering specials on pies for the celebratory month.
Whether it's served up in thin or thick crust or eaten folded or with a fork, there's a lot of dough, so to speak, in pizza. Across the U.S. today, there are 78,301 pizza restaurants, a 2.3% increase from last year, according to statistics from IBIS World. And where can you find the most places to get a pie? That'd be California with 7,281. And coming in second is New York, with 5,719 businesses, followed by Texas with 5,200.
National Pizza Month deals
- California Pizza Kitchen − From Oct. 3 to Oct. 31, guests can get a free Take + Bake pizza when they order a pizza while dining in. Returning diners have the choice of three free California-inspired options, which are the classic original BBQ chicken, pepperoni, or cheese.
- Papa Murphy’s Take 'n' Bake Pizza− Pizza fans can score 30% off online orders or regularly priced menu items by using the code PZMON23 until Oct. 6.
- Sbarro − Beginning Oct. 3, Sbarro is offering free delivery for the month of October. If you have a Sbarro Rewards account and order two 17-inch pizzas, you can get free cheesy bread.
- Domino's − The company is offering the mix & match deal, which allows pizza lovers to choose two or more mix & match menu items for $6.99 each. The deal is valid for carryout or delivery. They also offer a carryout deal that includes a one-topping pizza, Dips & Twists combo, or 8-piece wings for $7.99 each.
- DiGiorno − To celebrate the month, people can enter for a chance to win a Las Vegas trip for two, which includes a $5,000 cash prize. Other giveaways include merchandise, gift cards, and free pizza.
- Chuck E. Cheese − The popular kid's restaurant is offering a pumpkin-shaped pepperoni pizza for $18.98.
